When would my family receive my life insurance payout if I passed away?
Our claims are dealt with on an individual basis, and we will assess the claim and complete all checks that are needed. Once a claim is validated, the payment will be made into the chosen bank account within two to three working days of payment being authorised.

When would I receive a payout if I was diagnosed with a critical illness?
Once you have let us know you wish to make a claim, we will perform an initial review and obtain any medical evidence that may be required to assess your claim. If you have any hospital letters confirming your diagnosis, these can be supplied with your claim form.
If your claim is valid, the payout will be paid into your account within two to three working days and our team will keep you informed of your claim on a regular basis to make sure you are aware of your claim’s status.

How do I know I’ll receive a payout?
All Beagle Street claims are reviewed on an individual basis, and there may be occasions where a claim cannot be paid. If this is the case, our team will keep you informed and a full explanation of the claim decision is given.
There are some circumstances in which a claim might not be valid, which can include:
- The policy was not active at the time of diagnosis of a critical illness or time of death of the policyholder
- Your condition is not covered, after review of the evidence of your diagnosis
- Failing to disclose key information at the time of applying for the policy with us
- Any fraudulent activity
How long do I receive a payout for?
All pay outs from a Beagle Street policy are a one-off cash lump sum.
For both life insurance and critical illness cover, your payout can be claimed at any time within the lifespan of your policy.
Terminal illness cover, meanwhile, can’t be claimed in the final 12 months of your life insurance policy.
