Life at Beagle Street
Working for Beagle Street was a unique experience that can be best described as being part of an agile fast phased environment leveraging the experience, data and technology of BGL group. I was fortunate that Beagle Street was my last stop on the marketing graduate scheme, as it helped me develop valuable skills and allowed me to put in practice everything that I have learned so far in my previous graduate rotations.
Marketing planning and performance
As part of the marketing team my day-to-day responsibilities would involve working close with our Business Intelligence and Marketing Intelligence teams to analyse marketing channel performance and generate valuable insight that informs future campaign decisions. This has created more opportunities for me to regularly communicate with our external media partners to optimise channel performance and support media planning.
Within the first week of joining the marketing team I was given ownership of a key digital channel – online display advertising. This opportunity gave me exposure to a vast spectrum of marketing responsibilities, including: stakeholder management, creative production, planning and media buying, etc.
You should apply for the BGL marketing scheme if you have passion for numbers and a strong drive to deliver disruptive marketing campaigns. In return you should expect to develop valuable knowledge and experience, which will help your career progression and will create plenty of opportunities for you as a marketer.
