Beagle Street Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
(Effective from 2nd January 2025 to 16th February 2025)
This document sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the Beagle Street prize draw (The 'Prize Draw'). Participants should keep a copy of these terms and conditions.
- Beagle Street reserve the right to amend or alter the terms and conditions of the Prize Draw at any time, without notice.
- The promoter of the Prize Draw is Beagle Street. Beagle Street is a trading name of Family Assurance Friendly Society Limited, which is a friendly society registered and incorporated under the Friendly Societies Act 1992, registration number 939F, registered office 16-17 West Street, Brighton, BN1 2RL, and is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
- Participants will be entered into the Prize Draw automatically if they complete a quick quote (‘Quick quote’) between the 2nd January 2025 and the 16th February 2025.
- Only one entry will be counted per participant. If more than one quick quote is made by a participant, only the first one will be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Prize Draw.
- The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
- Employees of OneFamily are not eligible to enter.
- Entry to the Prize Draw will open on the 2nd January 2025 and will close 16th February 2025 (The 'Closing Date'). Valid entries received between 00:00 on 2nd January 2025 and 23:59 on 16 February 2025 will be entered into the Prize Draw. Any participant who completes a quick quote after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- There is only 1 winner in the Prize Draw. The Prizes is a 13inch MacBook Air: Apple M2 chip with 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, 8GB memory, 512GB storage – grey.
- The Prize is as stated and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The Prize is not transferable and is subject to availability. Beagle Street reserve the right to substitute any part of the Prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- The winner of The Prize Draw will be chosen at random by an independent person after the Closing Date and their decision shall be final and binding. Beagle Street shall not enter into correspondence in relation thereto.
- The winner of the Prize Draw will be contacted no later than 12 weeks after the Closing Date, to notify them that they have won.
- If the winner does not respond within 28 days, or if their entry does not meet these terms and conditions, their entry will be discounted, and another winner will be chosen in their place. Once a new winner has been chosen, the original winner's entry will be void and they will not be eligible to claim the Prize.
- The winner of the Prize Draw is responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of receiving the Prize.
- In any case of circumstances beyond Beagle Street’s reasonable control, Beagle Street reserve the right to cancel, extend or shorten the period of participation or alter in any way whatsoever the terms and conditions of this Prize Draw.
- Beagle Street reserve the right to withhold the Prize in case of insufficient quality of entries.
- Beagle Street cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Prize Draw or as a result of accepting the Prize. Nothing shall exclude Beagle Street’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
- Beagle Street must either publish or make available information that indicates that valid awards took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of prize winners to anyone who writes to Beagle Street Prize Draw, Marketing Team, OneFamily, 16‐17 West Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 2RL (enclosing a stamped addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 9. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact us in such circumstances. OneFamily must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- In the event of any legal dispute in relation to the Prize Draw, English law will apply, and the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
