Meet
Beagle & Street

Introducing Beagle & Street; they’re delivering some tough love to a nation that’s got its priorities wrong when it comes to insurance – you insure your home, your car, but not your life? In their words: “Numpties!”

Their story

This advertising campaign features two new characters Beagle and Street. Here’s their story:

Beagle and Street were both orphaned without life insurance cover early in life, and so set out on a mission to ensure nobody else would suffer the same fate. They saw that the nation had got its priorities wrong, so they travelled the country to encourage people to talk about life insurance.

Then one day, through some strange coincidence, they discovered a life insurance firm called Beagle Street. A company that not only shared their names but also their values. A brand that really cared just like they did. From then on, Beagle & Street became ambassadors for the only life insurer they’d recommend to people: Beagle Street.

Who is Beagle?

Beagle’s start in life was not a happy one. His Mum fell foul of a bin lorry on the A13 and Beagle, being the runt of the litter, was thrown out on his own to fend for himself in the world. Did he let it drag him down? No, it made him strong. Determined that what happened to him should never again befall a man or woman, child. Or dog.

Beagle looks pretty cute. But within that tiny, soft, furry body beats the tough, determined heart of a Dog On A Mission. Beagle, or ‘Boss’ as Street knows him, will not rest until he has convinced the people in Britain who don’t have life insurance to see the error of their ways.

Who is Street?

In a certain light you might think Street’s a bit of a gangster. Certainly useful when you’re on a mission to spread the message about life insurance. Like Beagle, Street was orphaned at a young age without financial cover, so he knows how important this stuff is.

How was Street to know that his passion for helping people would make him so emotional? So big-hearted. Given to crying a fair bit. And fond of a hug.
